Review on 🎨 General Selection 12x10ml Van Gogh Watercolor Paint Set in Plastic Pocketbox by Heather Shaw

Overall I was very impressed with these colors and the box they came in. It was a custom made plastic box unlike any other kit I've owned, with a quality travel brush and a removable palette tray. The colors show up very well on darker tones or on black paper, although they can be mixed with paint of any color to create a shimmery version of that colour. The price is comparable to others on the market, but this case and brush make it stand out. I love that Royal Talens Van Gogh colors have always been of high quality and fade resistance. The paint was lightly mixed with water and applied to the tip of a calligraphy pen with a brush. The paint flowed effortlessly, allowing for fine detail and lines to be drawn, plus it was a pleasure to draw with. red. Unlike metallic colors, which are fairly opaque, interference colors are almost invisible against white but look great against other colors, especially black. They didn't mix the base color like some brands do. So don't expect a regular watercolor where you can get a solid color - it's just a shimmery piece of mica. Like a painting with a very, very fine sheen. I highly recommend this set and hope you find the photos helpful.
