Review on 🧭 Silva Ranger 2.0 Compass: Navigate Your Way with Precision and Confidence by Matt Kucrud

I love this compass. LOVE IT. and the glow-in-the-dark feature comes in handy - not least when you're in a pit latrine and can't see what you're doing and you don't want to accidentally drop the compass. Trust me, if you use it regularly, it will come. The compass is strong, easy to read, fits in a pocket but can be hung around the neck, and a place for a mirror is a godsend for those who stand on the transepts. At first I was upset that I paid $40 for a compass, but after a month in the field with this girl I took it back. worth every penny. The transepts we worked on were full of deadwood and felled giant firs - it wasn't easy to stay in a straight line (photo for reference). This compass helped me a lot when I had to avoid impassable objects! definitely recommend! Only thing is I had to get my own rope to wear around my neck. in general, nothing bad, but you need to consider when ordering!
