I bought this item two months ago. My teenage boy and teen fell in love with this item and so did I. We use it every day and I even took it with me on vacation. We prepare paninis, grilled cheese, side dishes and toast several times a day. I use it to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for one or more people. I just discovered that it changes height to accommodate thicker sandwiches. The instructions were a kind of imitation. It's smaller but can hold two large sandwiches at once when angled. It stays on our counter and I use it more often than our toaster. Great price for value!
