No, it won't open

I've been looking for a small panini press for a long time and when it came out in its prime I decided to buy it. That's small. I don't know how the demo fits two sandwiches in one pan unless they were finger sandwiches. The description says the backrest can be raised to give you a decent all-purpose. It's not like this. I had to turn the sandwich a couple of times so it cooked evenly. Doesn't rise. If I had known, the thing would not have been bought. I'm checking if I can return it, if not…

I have already recommended it to others

I bought this item two months ago. My teenage boy and teen fell in love with this item and so did I. We use it every day and I even took it with me on vacation. We prepare paninis, grilled cheese, side dishes and toast several times a day. I use it to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for one or more people. I just discovered that it changes height to accommodate thicker sandwiches. The instructions were a kind of imitation. It's smaller but can hold two large sandwiches at once when angled…

For delicious veggies, paninis and corn muffins

GREAT! I'm a gluten-free vegan and use it for veggies rather than panini. I use it to roast eggplant, zucchini, potatoes and even vegan corn muffins. The top opens 180 degrees by pressing the hinge button on the side. The top can also be tilted with a wooden spoon to adjust the height of the food to be grilled. The removable drip tray is also great for catching grease or dripping water. It fits two small sandwiches or one large sandwich. I cut 3 small zucchini lengthwise and they fit on the…

Little Chefman Of Lies

It clearly says two things. You can put more than one sandwich on it. Besides, no. I like the 180° platform for indoor grilling as we live in an apartment but I wanted other parts of my unit to work as well. I am extremely disappointed. I never ask for my money back if I made a wrong decision and ended up with a product I don't like. I'm going this time. I was so excited to finally get this kind of item! I researched and found one at a price I could afford and thought it would be good based on…

Junk Product: Small Appliances

I'd say the description was deceptively optimistic at best. #1 It's not that easy to clean up. The plates are firmly connected to the press and must be cleaned on site #2 Floating cover does not float. It's more than just a lid with slotted pins you can poke in and poke fun at when you try to flatten the lid to no avail. #3 The images are ridiculously unrealistic. You have 3 sandwiches shown as matching in the header. I don't think 3 small sliders will fit. A normal size sandwich (regular loaf…

  • Out of Style

Should have listened to previous reviewers who didn't like this panini press but unfortunately didn't! Simply put, it is NOT "...SUITABLE FOR EVERY TYPE AND SIZE OF FOOD...". as noted! I was attempting to make a ham and cheese panini sandwich and convinced myself of the many shortcomings of this Chefman Panini Press Grill. First, the extremely short cord limited its use in our office. Even though the sandwich is on a small grid, when you try to push it down the lid doesn't apply even pressure…

Small, dirty Suitable for special vehicles

I have had a similar Hamilton Beach Panini press for many years. I replaced it because the nonstick coating was starting to peel off. Not wanting to go through that again, I chose Chefman by reading reviews rather than reading the specs. Initially, it is advertised as a two-part press. It's *only* two panes wide. Hamilton Beach has a significantly larger cooking area. Second, there's a green dumb lightbulb here, but that doesn't tell you in any way that your food is ready. There is no…
