I was hesitant to purchase this as reviews mentioned poor fabric quality, bad smells and size mismatch, but so far I haven't experienced any of these issues and am happy with the product I received have . I took a close look while unpacking and found a few loose threads but nothing major like loosening stitching. It held up well in the wash and is perfect for the queen size duvet I bought to put inside. The extra drawstrings help keep the duvet in place and the zipper is great. I can see how it can hold up badly when you have pets that often jump on and off it, but I'm planning to use it in a nursery and it looks like it should be fine. The fabric is not very thick. but has no catch and feels comfortable. The colors are bright like the picture and the matching pillowcases are a cute touch. I'm always hesitant to buy anything with reviews saying it's 'good for the price' and I'll upgrade if it doesn't last, but for now I'm glad I bought it.
