I usually wear US size 10 pants and have ordered larger. This is a thin, quick-drying hiking pant. They move well but lack the insulating quality. There is an elasticated waist and ankles. The right leg has a front thigh pocket with Velcro closure. The flap is asymmetrical and I have found that the tension of the material on my thigh causes this flap to open at both ends. On the back there are two hip pockets with zippers. Leg details have separate panels at knees. The seated knee bar is high for me, but looks proportionate when standing. It's still just one layer so just for the beauty.
