I had ordered a 2 piece swimsuit with a flowing top and swim shorts. The swim shorts were way too short though and you couldn't even see them below the flowing top. [Inseam 1.5"]. I knew I needed longer swim shorts.I got the teal with the waist tie in size large. The inseam on these is 8" and it is perfect! They make my [short] legs look longer and you can actually see them below the flowing top. The longer short took about 10 pounds off my appearance. With the short ones, I just look like a chubby ball showing only the middle of me.These elongate and take the eye away from the middle area. I am very pleased. Having said that, I have only just tried them on. I have not yet worn them swimming, have not yet washed them or anything.so don't know how they hold up, but from trying them on, they fit perfect, they look very pretty, and most important of all, they are the perfect length!
