I was disappointed that the link was 'frequently bought together' 18 gauge nails. I didn't realize it was a 16 nail gun. Since I could return it, I tried their 18 gauge nails. It worked. I've hammered about 30 18 gauge nails with no problem. My carpenter has a battery gun that is very loud, like a gunshot, and when it's reloaded it makes even more noise. This one doesn't. Just one click and the nail penetrates to the specified depth. It's like a semi-automatic pistol with a silencer. Pop pop pop job done.
