Went to Mexico and used it on the beach, my friends and I were impressed with the quality of the shots from this small short zoom camera. the drop is gone. A great buy if you have kids or just don't want to worry about the camera breaking, it's 5ft shockproof and waterproof. So if you drop them in mud, sand or salt water, you can just hose them down. Not the fastest camera to shoot, it was great for group photos and landscapes. Battery life was a little short, the battery isn't removable, and the power cord seemed decent, so I'm deducting a star for that. All in all a good buy.
