3 stars because it does what it's supposed to. It's the workmanship that counts

Does what it's supposed to do, but cannot be mounted on your BMW because of the paint finish on the outer edge of the mirror. There must be some kind of coating as the steak will be all blotchy and coarsely cooked. If you're getting this for an older machine I think it will be fine. But for a newer car, that makes the car cheap. I am in the process of returning this item.
