Jigsaw puzzle + IKEA instructions = This Pencil Holder

I wasn’t expecting to put this together. The diagram of the pieces was microscopic, even with my lighted magnifying glass. As a result, I put a piece upside down and had to backtrack to take it out a few steps later. The screws aren’t flush with the fake wood (not wooden—misrepresented in the description). Since it’s not real wood, you get what looks like cardboard edges (maybe because it is, in essence). I’m debating on keeping it because it doesn’t look nearly as good as the picture.

The final product is just fine. Assembly was more like working a puzzle. Had to use a rubber band to hold the lower section stable while assembling the upper section. Once the sides are attached you’re all set.
