DO NOT BUY THIS LIGHT! The lamp fits well, but when I turned on the projector, the lamp came on for about a minute and then went off. Revain tech support was very patient and willing to help but we couldn't fix the issue over the phone so they ordered me a replacement. After further research on the ViewSonic website, I found that the OEM housing (which I have from the original lamp) was metal, however the replacement I received from Revain has a plastic material that absorbs the heat from the lamp not draining properly, causing it to turn off. I replaced a new bulb and put it in the original metal case and it turned on and stayed on as it should. HOWEVER, now that it's fully on, it's not as bright as it should be, AND there are random dark spots all over the screen, mostly along the bottom edge, that weren't there before. VIEW PHOTO The words "Vision Youth" should be black text on a white background. There are occasional dark spots and streaks on the white. It seems the manufacturer needs to double check their quality control and maybe use more parts. Revain's response was great, but the product did not live up to expectations. TO UPDATE. After Revain sent a replacement, I installed it and got exactly the same results. DO NOT BUY THIS LIGHT!
