I've waited a while to write a review and I have to say I'm impressed. I'm the guy who uses them for keys and whatnot while running EMS after one of those 2 cents let me down. Even though the locking mechanism is too big for the ring, there is a way to flip it and make it work, but I've only had this issue once. The closing mechanism itself was very smooth and you only need one hand to open it easily and when you let go it closes smoothly every time. It's not that heavy, not that clunky, and doesn't look too gaudy on my belt loop.
