I love plaid scarves for autumn and winter. My region doesn't have cold winters, so thick winter clothing isn't necessary. The quilted scarf is of great importance here. This one caught my attention because of its simple black and white checkered pattern. When the scarf arrived I found the material to be thin and flowy, yet warm and cozy. It's more than enough to use as a scarf, but I also roll it up and wear it around my neck under my coat. There was a problem, the edge was not sewn. The fabric is beginning to unravel, leaving long threads as I go about my business. I've only worn the scarf two or three times, so that doesn't bode well. Most likely it will last the season, but no more. I deducted a star for this issue, but other than that it was a comfortable and versatile winter scarf.
