The comment below reflects the first time I purchased this item. A few months later I bought it again as Nintendo likes to limit their stock of everything. Now it works as it should. The input doesn't stay the same at all like suddenly disconnecting, but reconnecting the controller works as it should. First impression: If I could give zero stars I would. There should be no excuse for a brand new product to work like this. Every time I use my first Game Cube controller it always increases for some reason. This is not the case with other ports. One player only. So I got a replacement for it and it still has the same issues. I think it's my fault that I bought a third party product, but anyway it should work as advertised. I got this for my Switch and Wii U to hopefully play with the Game Cube controllers. Now I guess I'll have to wait until December for an official Nintendo release.
