Review on πŸ’» Stellar Labs Heavy Duty Laptop and Projector Presentation Stand by Robert Gomatham

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Extremely heavy, good for the road but falls apart when towed.

I have owned this product for over three years and have only used it a handful of times. It's very durable, hard wearing and designed for the environment I keep it in e.g. B. on the back of a truck. I don't use the stand very often, however, as it is often missing the built-in nut or bolt when I pull it out of the bed of my truck. I need regular preventive maintenance on the stand to make sure it's ready when I need it. If one of the arm's nuts or bolts is lost, the stand will fall apart. If the tension nut is lost, the stand cannot be raised. However, these elements are easily replaced with cheap hardware parts. I highly recommend purchasing locknuts for ALL replacement parts. A few modifications can make the stand last a very long time. I usually just grab the right nut and bolt and go. I don't randomly throw this stand in the back of a truck. It was always located in a place where shock and movement of goods were minimized. The bed is organized by OCD so having to do maintenance on the stand is a bit disappointing. However, these are just a few nuts and bolts. Most stands will quickly break or bend in such an environment. Yes, the assembly instructions are bad, but there is only one way to put them together.
