I really should have read the negative reviews on this before buying. The instructions are pretty simple. There's even a helpful video on YouTube. But the performance is just terrible. I lost half a roll of this junk simply because the adhesive was too strong and statically tacky and kept sticking to itself causing nicks, creases, scratches and other imperfections after application. Installed, so many seams, blisters and scratches like my windows were broken. No tool will fix it. Simply put, this blackout film is not thick enough and not as dark as it is sold. Of course it helps a little. But there must be better solutions, right? So yeah, it's awesome when you want to fret over a simple do-it-yourself project that should be pretty easy otherwise. It will ruin your day and ruin your windows in the process. Avoid.
