NOT the Stanley FatMax you remember! They used to be great records, I've looked at two in the last 10 years. My old ones were finally rusting and worn out after 10 years of almost daily use, so I replaced them with these overpriced paperweights. They made the tape thinner (just to reduce production costs and increase profits I'm sure) so they took a great tool and made it frustrating and useless. What was once a sturdy tape, ideal for those who often work alone, is now weak, flexible, easy to break and twist. The new tapes both lasted less than a week. One ribbon was kinked and tore 10 inches from the end. The other has twisted at the end so that the protruding part is now less than 1.50 m long. Try it if you must, but prepare to be very disappointed.
