I've been contemplating spending lots of money on branded bin liners for my 3 gallon bin or buying something cheaper. These pouches are very thin and when I tried to tear the pouch off the roll it tore along the perforation for a while and then flexed and ripped into the corner of the pouch creating a large hole and rendering the pouch unusable. I found I had to be very careful when tearing up packages. I tore off the next bag very carefully, managing not to break it. I use them for the trash and I'm a little afraid of having to change bags when they're only half full because they get too heavy and break, leaving me with a huge mess. But for the price I think I can afford it. If you're using them as a bathroom trash bin, as many reviewers say, they probably work well with light debris like tissues and dental floss.
