These shoes really helped my 15 year old lab geriatrician get back on his feet and gave him a little more confidence. We all have hardwood floors and traction has been improved. The old man dragged his hind legs across the sidewalks and the Pet Lab boot gave extra protection to his heel pads and claws which clawed and frayed/bleeded through his gait. We only wore them on His hind legs, considering His position, and He didn't mind at all. We bought them too late for winter/snow/salt but I'm sure wearing all four would be beneficial.
