Review on 🔧 Enhance Your Pressure Cooking Experience with Presto 09924 Sealing Ring/Overpressure Plug Pack (Super 6 & 8 Quart) by Rick Bishop

Got it for my Presto model 0128206 after losing the pressure plug. I knew it was time to replace it as the original gasket didn't seal or weld like it used to. The original lasted for several years before the seal itself became less pliable and harder as it dried. I don't know why this model is not in the description on the page because this ring also fits this stove. The installation guide is in the box and is quite simple. The o-ring appears to be very similar in quality to the old one, although the old one seems a little thicker, but this may be due to its age and it has become stiffer and harder with use. Both the pressure plug and the ring fit the stove well. The pressure cooker closes well and the pressure cooker seems to cook faster with the new seal. So far it seems to be working just as well as the original did when it was new. It remains to be seen how long the replacement will last, but I'll update my review if any problems arise. 4 stars
