Well I was able to use it in a way that most people who buy it won't use it. I have a '91 Dodge Stealth that had pretty bad ball joints. After looking for parts at several car dealerships, I have been told repeatedly that you can't just buy the ball joint, you need to buy the entire arm instead. After several hours of searching on the Internet, I found a forum with a detailed description of how to use this ball joint on Stealth and Mitsubishi 3000gt. I bought these hoping it would save me the $600 it would cost me for 2 wishbones. Everything went smoothly except for the snap ring. The snap ring is designed in such a way that snap ring pliers cannot be used. You need to tap it with a screwdriver, but the whole process is quite complicated. I found I couldn't do it without a second pair of hands, but other people on the internet have done it themselves. However, when I had it, it works great. I'm pleasantly surprised that the ball joint works so well on my car. If you have a Stealth or 3000gt don't buy control arms, buy these and save money!
