My garage door, 1/2HP Lift Master, was not responding to the WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROL. I checked the battery and all connections at the solder points on the motherboard. Everything seemed fine but the remote control didn't work. I decided that instead of replacing the entire logic board ($100), I would install it and use my phone to open the garage door. It took some time to route the long door sensor wire and route it along the length of the garage door. It didn't register on my network immediately, but eventually it did. Now I can open the garage door with my cell phone. I use Google Assistant. However, communicating with the car is so stressful and uncomfortable for me: I either speak too quietly or the microphone does not pick up my voice. Sometimes I'm too tired to talk! I only use the Smart Life app to open and close my garage door. For now it works as intended. By the way, I also bought 6 pieces. Panasonic FM series 35V 330uF low impedance capacitors and replaced them with a logic board. The remote control now works perfectly. I'm keeping this as a backup in case the wifi goes down again.
