disappointed with hardware

I have a similar product which is a lever handle and costs twice as much. I like the one I have. I bought it as a gift and installed it. Everything is OK. The numbers are difficult to see as they face forward and are at hip height. Too bad there isn't a separate button for the keyboard's backlight. I hate this code must end with #. Setting different codes is very confusing. My parents could never have done it alone. I'm handy, but I still had some problems.
