These are small to medium sized boxes that ship flat. I assembled mine by peeling the glue off the corners and squeezing the box together. It was a bit stiff but after holding it together for a few minutes it seems to stick. Unlike some other magnetic boxes I've reviewed before, the lid doesn't "hold" as well or close as tightly. I don't know if it's because it only has half a valve instead of a longer one, or if the magnets are just weak. Luckily, each box comes with grosgrain ribbon. It takes a few minutes to carefully thread it through the slits and then tie it tight. It helps prevent the lid from opening, but to be honest you don't even need to tie the box; That's what magnets are for! The box has a very dense, strong cardboard core covered with an even, seamless layer of matte white or black finish. Mine came in perfect condition, no damage. However, there are noticeable creases in the seams, which I haven't had a problem with in similar boxes from other brands. I think it's more obvious on the white field than the black. Overall, that's a minor thing. They were accompanied by two small postcards with envelopes and stickers. All in all nice boxes with a few features.
