I used this to decorate my room in a golden hue. I love the simplicity of white, but the marbled effect added a nice touch, and the gold was just enough to highlight without overwhelming the main white with a black theme. The duvet was packaged in a zipped plastic/cloth bag (such duvets are usually included) which meant it was very flat when I pulled it out. I threw it in the dryer for a few cycles on Air Fluff and it seemed to help, but it never looked as soft and fluffy as the pictures shown, except it looks exactly like the pictures! It's not too heavy which is perfect for the Florida weather I live in as I can wear the comforter all year round from hot summers (100*+) to cold winter nights (30*). If you live somewhere where temperatures are below 30*F consider adding another layer of blanket for extra insulation during the cold season, otherwise this blanket worked great!
