I am very disappointed in the 2-15/16" x 36" Scotch Mail Tube (7979). I find that the mailing tube itself is not thick enough to be easily crushed when used to store or mail items (e.g. posters). In addition, there were numerous stains from the oil-based liquid in the tube. . I suspect the inside got dirty during the manufacturing process - the outside of the tube was sparkling clean. I expected a lot more from a Scotch product. I would suggest that the company improve their quality control processes AND redesign the tube with thicker cardboard so it can be used as intended to properly protect items in transit or in storage. I am pleased to report that Revain promptly refunded this purchase due to the poor quality of the product. .
