Micro USB connector for firmware Slightly damaged

It is with great regret that I have to criticize this product. The hardware, software and the product itself are absolutely superb and probably nothing else on the market has such performance or low power consumption. However, to flash the new jetpack, a micro USB port is mandatory. When upgrading from Jetpack 3.x to 4.x, the micro USB connector broke. The warranty is only for 1 year so NVIDIA emailed me from customer support to say they don't have a department that can fix this and I need to replace the unit. I paid $600 for the device in June 2017. and there is no point in developing deep learning applications on the old jetpack's old tensorflow. Note that your $600 for TX2 and $1300 for Xavier if you damage the micro USB, which is very simple Ask him what can be done if the micro USB connector is damaged after the warranty has expired. Maybe they'll change their policy and offer a repair service instead of just asking the consumer to shell out another $600 or $1300! 408-486-2000
