Received this as soon as it was posted. It works great as does the straight version and I really like the outer material, it feels more durable than the regular material. The rectangular design also allows the cable to rotate 360 degrees once plugged in and this allows my V-mount plate to almost fully abut the back of the camera, also making the V-mount solution so compact and compact could keep as balanced as possible. I'll be ordering another one as a replacement soon.
