Received a Chefman hand blender today. The box was slightly damaged - it was only sent in one box; without outer packaging. However, Chefman's hand blender was not damaged. The device convinced me immediately. The handle/motor is ergonomic and comfortable to use, smooth and rubberized. When you plug it in, the speed dial glows blue so the numbers on it are easy to read. This unit has a plastic casing over the blender blades (head) and I bought it specifically for this feature to avoid scratching the ceramic pot in Ninja Foodi and other kitchen pans. I had to use it to make a broccoli, cheese and asparagus soup using a Ninja Foodi pressure cooker. The soup I made pretty much filled a 16-gallon pot. When it came time to use the hand blender, it worked quickly and became powerful. I have never used an immersion blender and when the tool's "head" gets close to the bottom of the pan it causes suction and I found that I had to release (turn off) the power button to turn it off . the bottom of the pot. So I need to learn more about its use. After cleaning, I can see that Chefman's hand blender did NOT scratch Ninji Foodi's ceramic pot. So right now I'm very happy.
