This rug is quite small. I was so blown away by the low price that I didn't even read the measurements and translate them into the real world. Still, he does what is intended. Some reviewers complain that their cats jump over the mat, making an even bigger mess. My cat seems to walk on it quite well as there are always a few grains of cat litter left in the little rubber nubs on the mat. There are many more scattered on the ground. But as one person commented, having a bundle of kitty litter on the mat instead of the floor is a bonus! Also, my mat is made out of a fairly durable plastic/rubber/impermeable material. It didn't roll or slide on the (tiled) floor we put it on. So buy? $4.15 worth? Probably. The question is, are the larger ones worth $20? Not sure. For now I'll live with this one which is pretty cute and does the job a bit.
