Bought for 4x4 grow tent. Assembly was easy but as mentioned you will need another set of duct brackets as you will likely use the set they give you which attaches the fan to the filter with a short piece of drop. In terms of performance, the fan seems to move air properly, although it is quite loud. It can rattle a bit at the lowest control setting, and I can hear it downstairs at the highest setting, even though I set it halfway up the hallway. Of course, I have hardwood floors which can cause the sound to spread a little further, but I wish I'd looked into quieter fans before purchasing this kit. Overall, this is a decent starter kit, but I'll probably upgrade next year when I get more serious about growing.
