Review on Secure Your Shade With AMMSUN Beach Umbrella Sand Anchor – Metal Heavy Duty Base For Sun Protection And Strong Winds by Kino Gerami

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Rusts easily and bad plate design

There are two problems with this:1) First, it rusts VERY easily. They either need a better material, or way better coating because after you use it once, the paint starts coming off and it'll be rusted within a week.2) The other problem is with the design of the plate that sits above the screw. The plate is a good idea to hold the anchor sturdy and keep it from rocking loose or just pulling straight out. However, because the plate doesn't have any breaks in it or twist, once you get down to the sand, the anchor stops going down unless you dig the dirt out away from the bottom of the plate. There is another product out there similar to this one that I have always used at the beach because it's very sturdy and holds the umbrella, even on windy days. I purchased this one because my usual one was out of stick and couldn't get to me fast enough. The other, better product, is the Sand Grabber: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B003ANV4CC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
