Review on CTA Tools 2066: The Ultimate Heavy-Duty Oxygen Sensor Socket for Professional Mechanics by Brant Skogen

This CTA Tools 1/2 2066 Heavy Duty Oxygen Sensor Socket could remove an O2 sensor that was not compatible with either a TEKTON 4929 3/8" drive on 7/8" or a TEKTON 47749 3/8" Offset Oxygen Sensor Bushing. Using the 47749 offset, it was easy to reinstall the new O2 sensor, but upon removing the old sensor, the bushing began to strip the O2 hex nut, so I replaced it Another Tekton 4929 socket (very similar in shape to this one) was able to remove the easier access to the O2 sensor where I had easier leverage, but this unit also started using the O2 sensor for a hard accessible area.Obviously there needs to be some clearance between the hex nut and the bushing for this to work, which was not present when using the bushing from this review.to access the hex nut and to provide a secure non-slip fit so that no more slipping occurs. This is despite the fact that the O2 sensor hex nut was "slightly" torn off by my previous efforts with other tools. When I used this CTA tool socket, the O2 sensor came straight out and stopped slipping. I actually had to struggle with this and the O2 sensor after removal to get at the old sensor from the socket. He was really gripped tight by that bushing. So yes. Highly recommend for stubborn O2 sensors where you may not have the best leverage.
