Extremely warm coat, sturdy like my little boy

This is a HEAVY coat. You wouldn't even think of wearing this in the off-season. This is probably one of the thickest coats I've ever bought for my son. I prefer him to wear this coat for outdoor activities like biking and skateboarding. The extra thickness gives me peace of mind that it won't peel off if dropped. Even the hood is thicker than you would expect. It also has a reflective strip to make it more visible at dusk. The outer layer of the coat is very similar to the material from which backpacks are made. It's not soft, but it's inside. The interior is made with the silky lining you would expect but quilted. The sleeves are also more comfortable and have a thick elastic lining. It also has an adjustable cuff so you can tie it snugly around your gloves or wear it in cold, dry weather. The bottom of the coat is slightly longer than most of his coats. It has two clasps that can be opened to give it more flexibility, making it ideal for cycling. I really like that this coat can be closed with metal buttons or a zipper. I can't tell you how many coats we got rid of because of broken zippers. I love that there is a fallback method to keep it closed and warm. He also has two pockets to store his treasures! Overall this is a very high quality and durable coat. It's both warm and functional. This coat will keep my son warm on cold and windy days. I'm thankful they finally made coats that are as strong and durable as little boys. Maybe we can really pass it on! I highly recommend it!
