At last. A carpet tape that really works! I have a nice 5' x 8' Oriental Rug in my small home office. It's positioned directly{on medium pile carpet) in front of my roll top desk. I did not want a plastic floor mat underneath my chair so I started out using triangle adhesive grippers. Bad news as my rug still kept bunching up at the desk every time i rolled back from it. The doubled tape promptly arrived and I was immediately impressed by double-sided adhesive. I rolled up the rug, positioned it and then I applied the tape every 8 " on the 5' side; 7 strips total. After a 2 weeks it hasn't moved an inch. 40 yards leaves me a lot of tape left over for the entry way.
