Sony's SEL lenses all suffer from extremely slow autofocus (when compared with SAL through an adapter, and even more so if we compare SAL to Sony alpha, and not to Sony Nex). But this one is without comment. What is the purpose of the FR 200 if it is almost impossible to focus? Only stones and mountains to photograph, or what? With the burst speed that the Sony Nex7 can deliver, with this lens you can be sure that you wonβt be able to take a single shot of a bird taking off. This lens has been lying around dead weight for two years, and the probability of selling it is close to zero.
