Review on Meguiars G7101FFP Gold Class Wash by Kyle Merriman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A 1999 Mercedes 230SLK that still looks almost dealership friendly and thanks to my regular Meguiar's washes.

I'm an old school car wash. I use the two bucket method, wash a quarter of the car, dry it, then wax it quarter by quarter. I have an old 1999 Mercedes 230SLK that still looks almost dealership-like, and I have my regular car wash Meguiar's to thank for that. Washing with only Gold Class will provide protection from hard wax but will not give you the liquid shine that real wax work has. I only use Collinite wax after years of searching for the perfect shine and protection for my Mercedes and Harleys. My main car is a 2017 Mercedes 350 GLE that has just gone through its first ritual of my cleaning method. It looks a lot better than it did when I bought it at the Mercedes dealer showroom in Ann Arbor. The bottom line is that this gallon of Meguiar's Gold will last you a long time, giving you very satisfactory results and preparing the paint surface for some serious waxing. and help keep your car looking good for a long time. Do a two-bucket wash twice a year, followed by a thorough wax polish, and your car will always shine, even if, like me, you live in Michigan winters with six months of salt and mud eating away at the finish line . Then apply Collinite Wax and your color will look like new forever. I ended up using the first gallon of Gold Class, which lasted about five years, and ordered another one. Why ruin a good thing.
