Review on 🔧 Stanley Proto J5100 3/8" Drive SAE Torque Adapter Set - 9PC, 12-Point by James Edwards

First, there were two 3/4" adapters in the kit, not 13/16". This is only a set of 9. I have bought hundreds of sockets at once and have never had a missing/duplicate one.More importantly the quality is not very good.I have new Taiwanese instruments that are much better than this one Stuff. The working end of the 3/8" adapter was sewn far from center, which is a bit of an issue for a tool designed to access tight spaces. The 3/8" adapter was also Slightly rounded at the bottom of the strap (middle). tool) so there is now a sharp edge moving alongside your work that is more prone to damage and the chrome on those sharp edges is more prone to chipping. The 3/8" adapter already showed bad chrome on those sharp edges. Some other tools also have some sharp edges, but the 3/8" adapter is worse. is the quality of the finish, especially in some hard-to-reach places where the manufacturer didn't take the time to polish the rough finish (any adapter where the working end connects to the beam). Some beams also have concave sections; While this doesn't affect the performance of the tool, it looks crappy. Half of the ball detent holes are also drilled off center. The 9/16" was so bad in this set that the ball never engaged and was much easier to remove from the rail than other tools. I'm not sure my push button ratchets would even lock this tool on the drive. . .and never will.. the quality is so bad for what i expect from a usa made tool i will be returning this set in a heartbeat (correct parts) but i would rather pay more money for a better set spend I'm a professional mechanic but I don't always buy the trendiest tools I look for value and performance in my tools.
