Protective camera covers, durable, very flat, stay in place. They can easily be cut to smaller sizes. Most hardware manufacturers do not supply "protective caps" for their camera lenses, although they should. At least for reasons other than protection from smudges and scratches and as a last line of defense against accidental or sneaky turning on the camera. A small piece of felt and some tape works well or sticks well and is a lot cheaper but not as recyclable as these cases. The adhesive on these cases leaves no residue or film (nano suction cups, no chemical glue or glue). The outside is made of soft microfiber. They stay down. They are easily removed by lifting and peeling off the edge, then replacing on the camera when needed. The adhesive can be reactivated with a tiny drop of water, which is rarely needed. Repeated peeling of the coating may require re-activation of the adhesive. This is way better than a piece of tape or a clumsy piece of plastic held in place with glue or a clamp.
