Review on Advanced Non-Scratch Scrubbing: Scotch-Brite Scrub Dots with 2 Scrub Sponges by Caleb Bennett

We use a new sponge about once a month. Usually the need for replacement is associated with mold that grows in the sponge over time. They smell bad, look dirty, and generally just get nasty once mold appears. When I was looking for new sponges, this one was recommended to me. It wasn't overly expensive and appeared to be of high quality so I figured for $3 you couldn't go wrong. If it's no use, you can just use it and replace it once a month like I usually do. Boy was I wrong. This is a VERY high quality sponge. It appears to be an open cell foam (not a real sponge) and also has a soft but durable cleaning side. The packaging is also very beautiful, thick and professional. The packaging also allows for easy access to the sponges, eliminating the need to rip off the plastic lid or worse, open it with scissors. From the first use you will immediately realize how much better these sponges are than traditional sponges. First, it's man-made, so NO MORE KILLING sponges. I hope it's recyclable too. If so, this could be the start of a widely successful recycling program that I fully support. The "sponge" looks like a real sponge and holds a lot of water and soap. In fact, it holds soap much better than water OR regular sponge; Therefore, you can use concentrated soap for washing. We only use ours for washing dishes and wiping water off countertops and it's great for those tasks. The sponge is also easy to clean. I don't have to put it in the microwave to disinfect it. YUP! And they are high quality as you would expect from tape. Will I buy again? DEFINITELY Can I recommend it? Absolutely. If you want a good sponge, buy these. You will not regret it. Update: Almost 3 months later, the sponge still works and looks almost new. Of course it's a bit faded, but otherwise it's still new. The scrubber has not separated from the sponge. The sponge does not mold and does not have an unpleasant smell. I highly recommend this sponge. It's just great! Update: 5 months from date of purchase! I have only used 1 (one) sponge so far. Lasts twice as long as a normal sponge. However, the sponge is starting to show some (and I stress SOME) wear, but it's still 75% good. It still absorbs an incredible amount of water and holds soap like it's not touching the body! The only thing I really noticed is that the sponge is not as elastic as new, but still works great. The scrubbing part didn't come off at all. It also doesn't smell like mold/fungus. Basically, this sponge is amazing! I highly recommend buying this sponge and you won't regret it. be improved. However, this one would have received a 5 star rating if I had given it. And the company did NOT ask for a review, so this is my honest review.
