I ran 75-100 feet of quad shielded RG-6 cable to my tree mounted TV antenna. The signal display on the digital television showed 3-5 out of 10 divisions of the possible signal level. When using this RG-11 coaxial cable instead of RG-6, the signal stabilized to stable 5 divisions. Bottom Line: If you're experiencing jittery 1-2 bars on your TV's reception indicator, this 75-100+ foot RG-11 solid core coaxial cable will most likely stabilize the signal. But don't expect a dramatic improvement in the signal, other than a significant stabilization in signal quality. My TV antenna equipment includes a Channel Master high gain TV preamplifier connected to a Channel Master 4 port distribution amplifier. The highest gain Winegard TV antenna currently available attempts to attract TV stations 45-50+ miles away with lots of trees and some hills in the way.
