Failed first try with them. I followed the directions correctly the first time and only applied RTV to the head, it bled profusely. You must use RTV black on both the cam cover and head for them to seal properly. DO NOT overtighten the cap screws to prevent leakage, they could break and the gasket will not seal properly anyway. They worked great and prevented a significant oil leak on my sc400. In addition, the small crescents must be removed from the head and resealed.
