Review on Seachem Acid Regulator - 250g for Optimal pH Control by Heather Richardson

I do not recommend this product for dwarf shrimp, especially red cherries. I've been using it for a few weeks for topping up after a water change, I measured the pH of the incoming water before adding it to the tank and tracked the pH of the tanks. This never affected the pH of the aquarium but did result in the death of some shrimp, presumably due to phosphate toxicity. I have very hard water, this stuff just couldn't get the job done without causing unsafe phosphate levels. It's just my 2 cents but it's backed by a degree in Chemical Engineering so do what you will and good luck.
