So here is the most honest review you will find around here. Put simply. GOOD: These things look very sexy. Nostalgia is overwhelming. Dismantling and installation did not seem difficult to me personally. But I consider myself quite tech-savvy. If you've never done anything like this before, you might want to start with something simpler. But it is possible! I got the "updated version" of the blue uniforms and had NO issues with buttonholes or anything that seemed to give people a lot of headaches in previous runs. Although maybe I was just lucky. THE BAD: My biggest disappointment wasn't something wrong with this product, but with a Nintendo product. Those tri-wing propellers are a nightmare to get into the joycons. I have a legitimate toolbox and am trying and still sharing. If this seller wanted to go the extra mile and get 5 stars from me, they would have started including replacement screws for the Phillips outer shells. That would be sooooooooooo much better. The only other minor complaint I have is that they are a bit shinier than my original N64 Blue Clear. You could matt them if that bothers you that much I suppose. Installation isn't that bad if you take your time and watch a lot of videos. Overall I think they're great and would recommend them to anyone who thinks they're ready to be taken apart and installed. Hooray!
