Honestly I'm just getting started with this. I get all kinds of glitches, background hiss and hiss in my monitor headphones. However, it looks like my last stream wasn't recorded. What should I find out in the end. BUT at such a low price I was able to quickly solve the missing XLR-XLR cable for my phantom powered microphone which I wanted to connect via a USB interface box, an old M-Audio Podcast Factory unit I bought for example. 200*? In any case, I was struggling forever using the XLR for the "big" modular jack, and of course it didn't supply power so the only way I could see the signal on the meter was by physically slapping the mic. After switching to full XLR everything worked BOOM and now I have to go back to all the rest of the studio, my mic is working GREAT. I realize this review isn't going to be of much help to audiophiles, but if you're new and just starting out, buy this thing that gets you moving and keep getting better and better until you hate it and realize you have a $50+ cables need. There is no need to invest until you are good enough. And if you lose energy, you have enough money to start something else again!
