This hat is actually a little loose on my kid but it's perfect because he holds it. The face mask is soft plastic and covers his face well without upsetting him and I found the right one for me so he can wear it in public with ease. We definitely feel safer in public with these protective caps during this Covid-19 pandemic. The hat is lightweight but looks solid and durable. Velcro is flimsy but does the job. I wash it in the washing machine on the gentle cycle and dry it upright and have had no problems. The hat arrived faster than expected and I am happy with this purchase for my child.
