Review on Gibson Performance Exhaust 55189S Stainless by John Thawngzauk

The item was shipped in 2 boxes and arrived without a single scratch. The stainless steel was in great shape and the welds are damn good and I'd feel bad about adding my rough welds to the muffler for comparison. Everything looks beautiful. As soon as I install it on my Silverado I will record a video and post an update. EXCELLENT silencer. UPDATE: Installed silencer with blades. I chose it because it's far from the loudest muffler Gibson has made. I personally like the sound, it can be heard both inside and outside the truck. When riding under load, the exhaust is big and stronger with the lid fully open. Off-throttle downhill, it sounds like the engine is off, but it was completely unthrottled. Perfect exhaust for me. I would have thought it would be quieter for others if you ran out the back with an exhaust pipe. No complaints here, sounds better than the 12" turbo muffler I previously installed with dueling rear echo attachments.
