As any weenie dog pawrent knows, it can be tough to fit a Dachshund, with their long bodies, short legs, and big barrel chests. This adorable pumpkin sweater fits my girl perfectly (she’s wearing a Medium). She is technically a little bigger than a mini (a"tweenie”), currently weighing about 13-14 lbs., and she has an 11” neck, 16” chest, and about a 13-14” long body. These photos actually show her with a harness on *underneath* the sweater too (stretches nicely, and yay for the leash hole!) so that worked out great — I certainly didn’t want to cover the cute design! I’m not normally one to dress my dog in clothes, but in the winter months, even in California, it can get chilly in the mornings and evenings and with her short hair, she does get a little cold, so a light sweater like this is perfect. I will probably come back and get the reindeer and heart ones too!
