Review on 🔩 Stainless Steel National Hardware N221 945 Turnbuckle by Chad Black

Seems ok and they worked fine for that, what i needed which was a light weight application where i don't really need the 3/16 inch cable i used. But they are much smaller than they should be. I'm very used to working with 3/16" devices and while it's possible they can meet some strength requirements for 3/16" they aren't the diameter they should be. They look downright pathetic after I've used them to pull a real 3/16 inch cable. I used an uncalibrated vernier caliper and measured the unthreaded hook portion and then the eye end and both were 4mm in diameter (much smaller than 3/16" and they are 5-1/2" long when the threads are fully extended) and measured the outside of the velcro. So the length of the middle stem is 2-3/8 inches. Still a good price but you can order the next size up.
